Our members are encouraged to place 2 works in the show.  Like last year, it will not be juried this year.  Due to state policies, we are not allowed to show any nudity, otherwise, you are free to select quality work to show at the beautiful Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden Gallery. [caption id="attachment_471" align="aligncenter" width="800"] Across the Board Show - WAG Board of Directors[/caption] The board of directors for the Windward Artists Guild will be showing their latest work at Gallery on the Pali. The participating artists are Suzanne Barnes, Marshall Heaney, Don Johnson, Cindy Mochel-Livermore, MaryAnne Long, Cynthia Schubert, Wendy Roberts, Marti Wiese Rounds, and Roger Tinius The Show will be on display from December 4, 2016 to January 6, 2017 with a reception on Friday, December 9, from 6 - 8 p.m. Gallery on the Pali is located on the corner of Niolopa Place and Pali Highway in Honolulu. The Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, weekends from 2 pm-6 pm. There is no admission charge and parking is convenient and free. We hope to see you there!

57th Annual Member Show is on display

Windward Artists Guild is holding its 57th annual Member’s show at the Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden Gallery October 2 – 28, 2016. Please join us at our reception Saturday, October 8 from 5:00 – 7pm. Below is a preview/overview of the show.  The works are beautiful especially in person, and each piece is carefully placed in order to harmonize with the art next to it.  Cynthia Schubert (who organized the exhibit and directed the placement of art on the wall),  MaryAnne Long (who assisted the entire day), and the members who helped hang the art did a wonderful job. A literally priceless opportunity for WAG Members

We are having a booth either June 22, 24 or possibly both. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION: You must have current WAG membership which you can renew or join up here:http://windwardartistsguild.org/joinrenew/ (if you're unsure, please message me and I will check for you) 2. All art offered MUST be ocean or beach-related subject matter. 3. All art must be able to be packed in a suitcase or able to be taken to the post office or UPS to be mailed to the customer's address within 48 hours of sale. With October almost over, it's the perfect time to plan a visit to the exhibit if you have not seen it yet. The show is up until October 30, 2015, at the Gallery at Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens (45-680 Luluku Road, Kaneohe). The gallery is open daily from 9 AM – 4 PM, and entry into the gallery and garden is free. The reception and awards were presented on the evening of Friday, October 9, 2015. I am finally posting a recap with photos of the reception.
